Happy Fall!
We’re in full swing with our fall preparations, working to get everything in place before winter arrives. Fall is one of our busiest seasons, as we focus on flipping beds for early spring flowers and planting a wide variety of seedlings, bulbs, corms, and bare roots.
Earlier this summer, we laid down a silage tarp to extinguish the grass, and now that it’s been lifted, we’ve begun cultivating the soil, enriching it with compost and nutrients. This fall we are creating 8 new beds of flowers - more than tripling our space!
These new beds will help us extend the season, starting with beautiful early spring blooms—think daffodils and tulips in March and April.

What’s popular at the stand right now?
Dahlias and eucalyptus bunches!

Dahlias
Dahlias are a beloved late-summer and fall favorite, kicking into full gear as the days start to shorten.

Eucalyptus
Always adding elegance to any bouquet, one of my favorite uses is hanging a bundle in the shower. When the hot steam hits, it releases a refreshing, spa-like fragrance—perfect for creating a little at-home relaxation.

While our season of fresh cut flowers is starting to wind down (maybe 3 more weekends), we have lots of exciting new adventures that we can't wait to share with all of you in upcoming newsletters!
Until next time,
